Preview: U17 Triglav KLS Season 2019/2020

New U17 Triglav KLS season is ahead of us. Best teams from U17 category in Serbia will take a part in this league. We will have chance to see 12 teams from 7 cities with a lot of talented players competing against each others. We decided to give you a litlle preview of the Triglav KLS 2019/2020 season so that you can have a better inside look of teams and players.
































Crvena Zvezda MTS – Nikola Šaranović

This is second year for Šaranović playing Triglav KLS. Last season he as a year younger he played small amount of minutes but was very productive for that time. He spent this summer playing for U16 Serbia NT averaging 7.1 pts 3.0 reb and 1.7 stl. Listed as 200cm Saranovic can cover SG and SF position and his biggest asset is his defense. Has great potential as a perimeter defender with his length and ability to move his feet. This season his role will be much bigger, and it’s expected that he brings aggressiveness, energy and stability to this Crvena Zvezda team.


Partizan NIS –  Mihailo Petrović

Petrović will be appearing in his second Triglav KLS season after very succesful first where he played back up PG role. Another U16 NT member, he avereged 5.3 pts, 2.2 reb and 2.0 ast on European Championship. Petrovic is 186cm electric PG who plays very aggressive with the ball, plays well in isolation, nice first step, gets past his defender, goes hard and finishes with lay ups and floaters. He is going to lead this Partizan team along with two more guards, Uros Paunovic and Srdjan Popovic, and he should be a guy to look for when the game is on the line. We had chance to see his amaizing performance in qualifications for Triglav KLS where he basically by himself beat Dynamic in decisive match.


Borac – Đorđe Ćurčić

Ćurčić will be making his Triglav KLS debut. Last season he was one of the best pioneers in country and he led Borac to the 4th place of U15 Sebian Championship. The 2004-born guard is 187cm tall and he can cover both guard positions. His main weapon is his shoot. Can score on multiple ways. He is a big prospect for Borac team and he already made debut for senior team and had chance to play against Serbia A NT in friendly match. Although he is a year younger it’s expected to be one of the leaders and main scorers in his team.


Vizura – Nikola Petojević

Petojević will be playing his second season in Triglav KLS. Last season was turbulente for him. First he started season in Mega Bemax but he didn’t play a lot as a year younger, then the he decided to change team and he came to Vizura where he got much more minutes and he played much better. Petojević is 197cm well polished and strong forward. Good strength level as well as body frame which helps him to stand the contact and finish strong to the rim. He also improved his shoot so he will be treat from perimeter too. He will be defenitely leader of this young Vizura team which has a lot of 2004 players in roster and he will be definetely one of the best scorers and players in whole league.


Mega Bemax – Nikola Đurišić

Đurišić will be making his Triglav KLS debut as he was in U15 Mega Bemax team and he led team to the bronze medal of U15 Serbian Championship and he was the top scorer of F8 tournament. Djurisic played FIBA U16 EC for Serbia and averaged 4.7 pts, 3.0 reb, 1.6 ast. He is 2004-born 198cm tall and he is pretty much all-around player thanks to his skills and talent. This year he will be playing for both U19 and U17 Mega team’s. In U17 team he will be one of the main guys, it’s expected to see him with ball in his hands a lot, to create for himself and others and maybe sometimes in PG role running the offense.


Dynamic VIP PAY – Ilija Milijašević

Another underage player but he had chance to experience Triglav KLS last season as he got chance to play some games for U17 Partizan team, He led Partizan team to U15 Serbian Championship title where he was named MVP of F8 tournament. He also played FIBA U16 EC in Udine where he averaged 7.4 pts, 1.4 reb, 2.1 ast and helped Serbia to take 7th place. The 187cm tall guard is extremely mature for his age and plays with a lot of poise. He is well polished player who shows a lot of variety. Can score in a different way each possession. It’s expected to be vocal and scoring leader in this team and to delivers points in important moments for Dynamic for which this is debut season in Triglav KLS.


Konstantin – Miodrag Davinić

First season for Davinić in Triglav KLS. Even though Konstantin played last season Triglav KLS team was oriented on 2002 players and younger guys didn’t get the chance.  He came this season to Konstantin from Vlasotince. The 2003-born 198cm tall forward led Vlasotince 2 seasons ago to the U15 semifinal tournament where he was one of the best players. Now he is going to have chance again to present himself on big stage against big teams. Has strong and big body with a solid foundation for a back to the basket game and he also improved his outside range.


NS Basket 07 – Vasilije Kiso

NS Basket 07 is making first aperearnce in Triglav KLS and so does Vasilije Kiso. He is 2003-born 195cm tall guard with nice skillset. He can play both guard positions. Can create for himself and for others.  Has high basketball IQ, solid court vision and passing ability. Good ball handler with a great change of pace dribble. He is not consistent shooter but can score from 3PT line. This is going to be a new experience for all NS Basket’s players. We will see where they are among best teams in country.


Radnički 1950 – Danilo Labović

Second season in Triglav KLS for Labović. Last season he played behind Andrija Bacarevic who was one of the best players in the league and he didn’t get enough chance to show himself. This year 190cm tall PG will be leading this team. He is pass first PG with great awareness, understands game plan and reads the game well. Unselfish and patient offensively. A lot of players from last year are in team so they have experience and time spent playing together. Last season the finished 5th and this season they can also make good result.


Sloboda – Vidak Đurić

Đurić will be playing his second season in Triglav KLS. He had pretty good minutes and role last year as a year younger then competition and this year 2003-born 190cm guard is expected to lead this team and be one of the main players. Good and athletic guard who plays with great physicality. Good on both ends of the floor and bring security and confidence to the team. Sloboda is also having a lot of players from last season so they will be also prepared and they know what to expect. Last season they finished on 10th place, this season they have chance to improve it.


Sloga – Ognjen Razić

Probably the most experienced player when it come about Triglav KLS as he going to play his third season in this league. Last season wasn’t so good for Sloga as they finished on last place with only 2 wins. The 2003-born 194cm tall Ognjen Razić finally awaited a chance to lead his generation team he will have chance to show all what he got. He can play all outside positions, but he is the most efficient like a SG. Good athlete with great run and jump ability. Fearlessly drives to the rack, plays through contact, finishes with lay ups, can use either hand. We will see does experience is going to help him to help Sloga to make a better record then last season.

Star – Mateja Mulabdić

Second rookie team this season in Triglav KLS is another team from Novi Sad, KK Star. They won all three games in qualifications in region Vojvodina and advanced from first place to Triglav KLS. Mulabdić is also going to make his debut in this league. The 2003-born 196cm tall SF is playing his second season in Star. He came from Sports World where he was one of the best players and led them to the U15 semifinal tournament 2 seasons ago. Mulabdić is player who is versatile in offense. Has good ballhandling skills which allows him to create for himself and has excellent feel for the game.
